Day 1: September 11, 2024 / Arrival
Departure at 6:00 am from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon towards Lech am Arlberg, including breakfast and lunch. A welcome aperitif will be served to welcome the group.
Day 2: September 12, 2024 / Free time - Lech am Arlberg
Facing the impressive Lech mountain range, take time to recharge your batteries. The region offers a vast network of 350 kilometers of marked hiking trails in the Alps. You can explore the high mountains with one of the many ski lifts. Alternatively, you can leisurely explore the town and visit some of the boutiques.
Day 3: September 13, 2024 / Silvretta Alpine Route
Today's program includes a special excursion: the Silvretta Alpine Route. This 22.3 km route stretches from Galtür (Tyrol) to Partenen (Vorarlberg), reaching its highest point at the Bielerhöhe, 2,037 meters above sea level. The route winds through the magnificent Austrian Alps, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Silvretta reservoir.
Day 4: September 14, 2024 / Free time in Lech
Take advantage of this day to continue exploring Lech am Arlberg. The Baroque parish church of St. Nikolaus is one of the town's historic monuments, inviting visitors to admire the religious architecture and works of art. Culture buffs will feel right at home in the Huber-Hus-Lech Museum or the Kästle Mountain Museum. You can also enjoy a delicious meal in one of the comfortable local restaurants.
Day 5: September 15, 2024 / Großes Walsertal Biosphere Reserve - Bregenz
After breakfast, drive over the Hochtannberg Pass through the “Großes Walsertal”, famous for its dairy farming. Thanks to its exploited alpine pastures and karst heights, this region has been awarded the “UNESCO-Biosphärenpark” label, along with the Bregenz Forest. Next, explore Bregenz, the capital of Vorarlberg, located on the eastern shore of Lake Constance. Take the opportunity for a relaxing stroll along the lakeshore. Alternatively, explore the well-preserved historic quarter.
Day 6: September 16, 2024 / Kaunertal Glacier Route - Stift Stams
The Kaunertal Glacier Route stretches 13.5 km from Feichten in the Kaunertal to the glacier in the Weißseeferner valley, at 2,750 m altitude. Enjoy lunch at the glacier restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Cistercian abbey of Stift Stams and a cheese factory.
Day 7: September 17, 2024 / Return
After breakfast, start your return journey to Luxembourg, including lunch.
