ITINERARY
Day 1: 15 May 2025 / Arrival Departure at 6:00 am in Luxembourg at the P+R Bouillon to Giverny, including breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, a guided tour of the “Fondation Claude Monet” and some free time in Giverny awaits you. Onward journey and overnight stay in Le Havre.
Day 2: 16 May 2025 / Mémorial de Caen - Honfleur After breakfast, make your way to Caen, where a guided tour of the “Mémorial de Caen” awaits you. This museum impressively documents Operation Neptune and D-Day as well as the European history of the 20th century. You will then travel to Honfleur, where you will have free time at your disposal.
Day 3: 17May 2025 / Le Havre - Bolbec Today you will start with a boat trip in Le Havre to explore the port. In the afternoon, you will visit the textile museum in Bolbec, where you will immerse yourself in the fascinating history of cotton processing and learn all about the development of printing techniques. After the museum visit, you will have free time in Le Havre.
Day 4: 18 May 2025 / Fécamp - Étretat In the morning, you will set off for Fécamp to visit the Palais Bénédictine. This magnificent neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance building was built by the inventor of Bénédictine liqueur and houses art exhibitions and a collection of old books. You will first explore the museum before taking part in a cocktail workshop. After lunch, continue with a boat trip to Étretat, where you will have free time at your disposal.
Day 5: 19 May 2025 / Terres-de-Caux - Allouville-Bellefosse You start the day with a tour including beer tasting in a brasserie, followed by a visit to a cheese dairy, where you will learn all about milk production and cheese processing. After lunch, head to the Christian Morel perfumery in Allouville-Bellefosse and take part in a perfume workshop. Learn about the history of perfume, discover the main ingredients and make your own personal perfume to take home with you. Afterwards, continue to the capital of Normandy, Rouen, where you will spend the night at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
Day 6: 20 May 2025 / Rouen After breakfast, a guided tour of Rouen by coach awaits you. A highlight of the day is a visit to the Historial Jeanne d'Arc Museum. At lunchtime, you will have free time to explore the historic city on your own. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Rouen.
Day 7: 21 May 2025 / Journey home You will start your journey home to Luxembourg, including lunch at the Musée d'Orsay, where you will also take part in a guided tour.
