Itinerary
Day 1: August 6, 2025 / Arrival in Amsterdam Departure at 8:30 am from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon for Amsterdam. In the late afternoon, departure on the comfortable ferry to Newcastle in northern England. A delicious buffet dinner and overnight stay await you.
Day 2: August 7, 2025 / Newcastle - Cairnryan - Belfast Enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast before the ship reaches Newcastle in the morning. After disembarking, your journey takes you through the picturesque landscape of the Scottish Lowlands to the ferry port of Cairnryan. In the afternoon, the Stena Line ferry will take you to Belfast, where you'll arrive in the evening.
Day 3: August 8, 2025 / Belfast In the morning, you'll visit the Titanic Belfast Museum. Here you'll discover a captivating interactive exhibition on the construction of the world's largest ship at the time, life on board and her tragic fate. In the afternoon, you'll discover Belfast with a local guide. This charming and welcoming city harmoniously combines tradition and modernity. Afterwards, you'll have some free time.
Day 4: August 9, 2025 / Belfast - Letterkenny In the morning, you travel to the far north of Northern Ireland along the breathtaking coastline of the Giant's Causeway. Here, a natural wonder of a special kind awaits you: the Giant's Causeway, with its 40,000 skilfully sculpted hexagonal basalt columns stretching from the cliffs to the sea. Afterwards, you'll take part in a 3-hour tour of the Old Bushmills whisky distillery. In the afternoon, you'll continue your journey to the Irish town of Letterkenny.
Day 5: August 10, 2025 / Letterkenny - Sligo Today, you'll discover the scenic beauty of County Donegal and explore the magnificent Glenveagh National Park. The park boasts vast peat bogs, imposing rock formations and is home to the largest deer population in the region. After a wonderful day, return to your hotel in Sligo.
Day 6: August 11, 2025 / Sligo - Galway Your tour begins in the wild and romantic bogs and fens of Connemara National Park. On your journey, you'll pass through a spectacular natural landscape that constantly changes between mountains, lakes and arid peat bogs. A visit to Clifden, the charming “unofficial” capital of the region, as well as the impressive Kylemore Abbey, will complete this day rich in discovery. Overnight in Salthill/Galway.
Day 7: August 12, 2025 / Galway - Killarney Today you drive through the fascinating Burren, a unique limestone landscape that has no equal. Your destination is the unique Cliffs of Moher. The sheer cliffs stretch for over 7 kilometers along the Atlantic coast, reaching heights of up to 200 meters. You'll then take the ferry from Killimer to Tarbert, crossing Ireland's longest river. The journey continues to Killarney.
Day 8: August 13, 2025 / Ring of Kerry Excursion In the southwest of Ireland lies the most spectacular scenic coastal route, the Ring of Kerry. This road takes you through breathtaking scenery, where sheer cliffs rise majestically from the sea and massive mountain ranges and green meadows form a striking contrast. At the end of the coastal road, you'll visit Muckross House and its magnificent gardens, a delightful Elizabethan manor house. Return to your hotel.
Day 9: August 14, 2025 / Kilkenny - Dublin Today, you drive across Ireland to Kilkenny. The town is dominated by the imposing Kilkenny Castle, a landmark aristocratic residence with remarkable round towers, which majestically dominates this charming locality. The town itself is considered one of the best preserved in Ireland. In the evening, you arrive in Dublin, Ireland's bustling capital.
Day 10: August 15, 2025 / Dublin Dublin awaits you for a city tour, including Dublin Castle, the imposing Christ Church Cathedral and St. Patrick's Cathedral. The afternoon is free, ideal for shopping in this vibrant city.
Day 11: August 16, 2025 / Dublin - Kingston Upon Hull After breakfast, a ferry takes you to Holyhead in Wales. You will then travel to Kingston Upon Hull, where you will board the P&O Ferries ferry to Rotterdam. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 12: August 17, 2025 / Return home You depart for Luxembourg.
