ITINERARY

Day 1: July 10, 2025 / Departure to Lübeck

Departure at 6:00 a.m. from Luxembourg at the P+R to Lübeck, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: July 11, 2025 / Ferry Crossing Rødbyhavn – Öresund Bridge – Stora Mellösa

Your day begins with a ferry crossing from Puttgarden to Rødbyhavn, followed by a drive across the impressive Öresund Bridge to Sweden. The route takes you along the picturesque Lake Vättern. In the evening, you will reach your idyllic accommodation located directly on the shores of Lake Hjälmaren.

Day 3: July 12, 2025 / Nora – Örebro – Wadköping Museum Village

Head to the charming town of Nora, famous for its picturesque wooden buildings. Stroll through its cobbled streets before continuing to Örebro for a guided tour, including the Wadköping museum village and the majestic Örebro Castle, surrounded by a moat.

Day 4: July 13, 2025 / Dalarna Region – Mora

Enjoy a scenic drive through the forest and lake landscape of the Dalarna region, centered around the large Lake Siljan. Along the way, visit the colorful house "Lilla Hyttnäs" of the famous artist couple Carl and Karin Larsson. In the afternoon, arrive in Mora, renowned for its traditional woodcraft.

Day 5: July 14, 2025 / Dalarna – Nusnäs – Boat Trip on Lake Siljan

Visit the village of Nusnäs, where you can witness the making of the iconic painted Dalecarlian horses. Then, return to Mora and enjoy a relaxing boat trip on Lake Siljan.

Day 6: July 15, 2025 / Free Day

Spend your free day exploring the peaceful surroundings with a leisurely walk or hike. Alternatively, relax at the hotel’s spa facilities.

Day 7: July 16, 2025 / Värmland – Mårbacka – Uddevalla

After breakfast, continue your journey through the stunning region of Värmland, stopping at the charming Mårbacka Manor, the birthplace of Nobel Prize-winning author Selma Lagerlöf. Arrive in Uddevalla in the evening, beautifully located by the Byfjord.

Day 8: July 17, 2025 / Gothenburg – Marstrand – Carlsten Fortress

Visit Gothenburg and admire the beautiful Bohuslän archipelago. Enjoy a guided city tour before taking a ferry to the car-free island town of Marstrand, famous for its colorful wooden houses and the imposing Carlsten Fortress. A guided tour will reveal the fortress's fascinating history and hidden passageways.

Day 9: July 18, 2025 / Copenhagen – Puttgarden – Lübeck

After breakfast, return via Copenhagen with a ferry crossing to Fehmarn and continue to Lübeck.

Alternative: Return flight with Luxair from Copenhagen to Luxembourg in the evening.

Day 10: July 19, 2025 / Return to Luxembourg

After breakfast, return to Luxembourg.
