In the morning, you have free time to get to know the hotel or discover the charming town of Stresa with its great stores, idyllic terraces and lively harbor. In the afternoon, take the boat to the beautiful Isola Bella, where you can visit the impressive baroque palace and the fascinating gardens.

Day 3: 20 May 2025 / Centovalli Railway - Locarno
After breakfast, you make your way to Domodossola, where you board the famous Centovalli Railway. The unique journey takes you through the impressive “Valley of a Hundred Valleys”, along deep gorges, over impressive bridges and through dense chestnut forests to Locarno. There you have free time to explore the picturesque lakeside town in the south of Switzerland.

Day 4: 21 May 2025 / Weekly market in Luino - Lugano
You will take a morning boat trip from Intra to Laveno-Mombello, from where you will then travel on to Luino. There you will visit the typical weekly market, which takes place every Wednesday morning. You then continue your journey to Lugano in Switzerland, where you have free time in the afternoon. We recommend a leisurely stroll through the beautiful city park or a leisurely stroll through the city. Return to Stresa in the late afternoon.

Day 5: 22 May 2025 / Villa Taranto - Lago d'Orta
You start the day with an excursion to the nearby, famous Villa Taranto, whose mixture of naturalistic design and beautiful, unusual plants is a real eye-catcher. Your day tour then takes you to the enchanting Lago d'Orta, which is located just a few kilometers west of Lake Maggiore. In the idyllic village of San Giulio, time seems to stand still. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as you stroll through the small town.

Day 6: 23 May 2025 / Day at leisure in Stresa
We recommend taking a boat trip to Isola Madre, the largest island on Lake Maggiore, or visiting the Parco della Villa Pallavicino, where you can observe foxes and raccoons, among other things. A walk to one of the numerous markets in the area is also worthwhile.
