ITINERARY

Day 1: 07 May 2025 / Arrival in Vienna
Departure at 4:30 am from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon for Vienna, breakfast & lunch included.

Day 2: 08 May 2025 / Vienna to Budapest
Departure for Vienna airport to pick up passengers and continue to Budapest.

Alternative for air passengers: pick-up at home and flight to Vienna. Continuation of journey with bus passengers.

Day 3: 09 May 2025 / Visit Budapest - Tasting at the covered market
Today, discover the highlights of the Danube metropolis. From the top of Gellért Hill, you will enjoy a unique view of the Danube. After tasting Hungarian specialties in the covered market, you will visit St. Stephen's Basilica and the Parliament building.

Day 4: 10 May 2025 / Hollókő - Erlau (Eger) - dinner in the Valley of the Beautiful Women
The journey continues to Hollókő, an inhabited "open-air museum". Here, locals in traditional costume will welcome you with schnapps and sweet specialties. In Erlau, a journey of historical discovery and an organ concert in a cathedral await you. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in the Valley of the Beautiful Women.

Day 5: 11 May 2025 / Szerencs - Tokaj - Caves Rákóczi 
In Szerencs, you will visit the castle and church before heading to the Disznókő winery. After a delicious lunch at a traditional inn, you will arrive in Tokaj, where you can taste some excellent wines at the famous Rákóczi wine cellar.

Day 6: 12 May 2025 / Kecskemét - Puszta program - Dinner with music
The journey continues to the outskirts of Kecskemét, known for its fertile soil and mild climate. This is where the famous "Barackpálinka" apricot brandy is produced. During a guided tour, you'll admire the magnificent town hall and watch a traditional puszta show. In the evening, enjoy a pleasant dinner with street music.

Day 7: 13 May 2025 / Lake Balaton ferry - Tihany peninsula - Balatonfüred
After breakfast, drive to Siófok and cross Lake Balaton by ferry to the Tihany peninsula. The abbey church impresses with its magnificent interior decoration. You then continue your journey to Balatonfüred.

Day 8: 14 May 2025 / Keszthely - Hévíz thermal baths - Veszprém - Herend
Today, you will tour Lake Balaton. You visit Festetics Castle in Keszthely, explore the famous thermal baths at Hévíz, Europe's largest natural hot-water lake, and continue your journey to Veszprém, known as the "city of queens". In Herend, you can admire a unique collection of porcelain.

Day 9: 15 May 2025 / Vienna
Departure for Vienna, arriving around noon. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure. Late afternoon departure for the airport.

Alternative for air passengers: departure for Luxembourg. Bus passengers spend the night at the airport hotel.

Day 10: 16 May 2025 / Return journey
Return home after breakfast.
