On this 10-day journey, you will experience the Krka National Park and the Old Town of Dubrovnik, as well as the historic town of Trogir, while staying in Split. A day trip to Bosnia will take you to the oriental city of Mostar with its famous Old Bridge.

ITINERARY
Day 1: 25 September 2025 / Arrival in Bellinzona
Departure at 6:00 AM from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon to Bellinzona. Breakfast and lunch along the route. Dinner in Bellinzona.
Day 2: 26 September 2025 / Travel to Ancona – Ferry to Split
After breakfast, continue the journey to Ancona, where you will take the ferry to Split. Dinner and overnight stay on the ship.
Day 3: 27 September 2025 / Split
In the morning, you will arrive at your hotel in Split.
Alternative for air travelers: Direct flight from Luxembourg to Brač and hotel transfer.
In the afternoon, you will participate in a guided city tour of Split. The absolute highlight is probably the world-famous Diocletian’s Palace. Additionally, the Riva promenade and Marjan Hill are also very worth seeing.
Day 4: 28 September 2025 / Zadar – Sea Organ – Šibenik
Today, you will visit the ancient city of Zadar. A unique experience awaits you with the Sea Organ, an architectural musical instrument that creates extraordinary sounds through the movements of the sea. Afterward, you will continue to Šibenik, which impresses with its beautiful Old Town. A local guide will accompany you throughout the day.
Day 5: 29 September 2025 / Trogir – Primošten
After breakfast, you will head to Trogir. Its Old Town, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997, is considered the most beautiful medieval town in Dalmatia. Narrow, romantic alleys lead you to historic buildings and squares, complemented by a picturesque waterfront promenade. Afterward, you will head to the picturesque Primošten, which has retained its character as a fishing village. The old part of the town is located on a small island, connected to the mainland by a bridge.
Day 6: 30 September 2025 / Dubrovnik
In the morning, you will depart for Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “pearl of the southern Adriatic coast” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During a city tour, you will explore the historic center, the Franciscan Monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe, and the Old Harbor. Fans of the series will also be pleased, as many scenes from the successful fantasy series “Game of Thrones” were filmed in Dubrovnik.
Day 7: 1 October 2025 / Bosnia & Herzegovina – Mostar – Blagaj
You will take a trip to Bosnia and begin a fascinating day in the oriental city of Mostar, which is crossed by the Neretva River. Mostar is famous for its restored arch bridge from the 16th century. The surrounding streets are lined with shops and market stalls. A narrow staircase leads to the minaret of the Koski-Mehmed-Pasha Mosque, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the river and the city. About 10 km southeast of Mostar is the town of Blagaj, known for its impressive Dervish Monastery, which was built on the banks of the Buna Spring. The monastery building now serves as a museum. A local guide will share important details about Mostar and Blagaj.
Day 8: 2 October 2025 / Krka National Park – Departure by night ferry
You will explore Krka National Park with a local guide, which is famous for its impressive waterfalls. Afterward, you will visit the open-air museum, where you will get an insight into the lifestyle of the last 100 years in Dalmatia. Of course, you will also taste the local specialty “Drniški Pršut,” a smoked ham paired with regional wine. In the evening, you will depart by night ferry.
Day 9: 3 October 2025 / Free time
After your arrival by ferry in Ancona, you will travel to the hotel in Bellinzona.
Day 10: 4 October 2025 / Return journey
After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Luxembourg.
