ITINERARY

Day 1: February 17, 2025 / Arrival
Departure at 7:00 am in Luxembourg at the P+R Bouillon to Täsch, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: February 18, 2025 / Zermatt
Your day today takes you to Zermatt, a village at the foot of the 4,478 m high Matterhorn, where a spectacular natural backdrop awaits you. We recommend a ride on the cog railroad to the Gornergrat or the cable car to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. The ride on the Gornergrat Railway and the spectacular view of the Matterhorn are an unforgettable experience in themselves. From the panoramic platform at an altitude of 3,089 m, you can hardly get enough of the breathtaking view of mountains and glaciers. The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise at an altitude of 3,883 m is truly a place that beguiles the senses. Surrounded by 38 four-thousand-metre peaks and 14 glaciers stretching across three countries, the summit of the Klein Matterhorn exerts an irresistible attraction. It is also worth visiting the Matterhorn Museum in the center of Zermatt to delve even deeper into the fascinating history and culture of this region.

Day 3: February 19, 2025 / Ride on the Glacier Express
Throughout the day, you will travel on the Glacier Express from Zermatt via Visp and Brig along the Rhone Valley in Valais to the impressive 15.4 km long Furka Base Tunnel. Around midday, the train crosses the canton of Uri past Andermatt and winds its way up numerous hairpin bends to the 2,033 m high Oberalp Pass. The lunch menu is served directly at your seat in the panoramic carriage. From the top of the pass, the train follows the Vorderrhein down the valley to Disentis and on through the impressive Vorderrhein Gorge to Chur, the capital of Graubünden. Finally, the Glacier Express passes the unique Albula line of the Rhaetian Railway to St. Moritz in the Engadin, before continuing by coach to the hotel in Maloja.

Day 4: February 20, 2025 / Romantic horse-drawn carriage ride into the Fex Valley & St. Moritz
In the morning, you will take a picturesque horse-drawn carriage ride into the idyllic Fex Valley, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature to the full. After a relaxed lunch, continue your journey in the afternoon and visit St. Moritz.

Day 5: February 21, 2025 / Journey home
