ITINERARY

Day 1: November 21, 2024 / Arrival - free time 
Arrival by direct flight from Luxembourg to Rome in the late morning. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. In the evening, dinner awaits you in a local restaurant with an opera show.

Day 2: November 22, 2024 / Rome
Today is also at your leisure in the Eternal City.

Optional excursions: 

- Ancient Rome: this tour takes you back to the glory days of the Roman Empire. It begins with an exterior tour of the Colosseum, followed by the Arch of Constantine, the Imperial Forum Street, the Roman Forum, the Imperial Forums and Trajan's Column. The tour finally ends in Piazza Venezia.

- Classical Rome: The tour begins at the Spanish Steps, continues to the Trevi Fountain, the political center of modern Italy and the Pantheon. Finally, you will reach Piazza Navona.

Day 3: November 23, 2024 / Vatican
Free time in Rome. Enjoy the beautiful alleyways, the numerous ancient ruins as well as the monuments, all of which are reminders of the former center of the Roman Empire.

Optional excursion: 

- Christian Rome: visit to the Vatican Museums (admission extra), including the Sistine Chapel. Visit to St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica takes place in the afternoon.

Day 4: November 24, 2024 / Journey home
Use the morning to stroll through the Porta Portese market. Transfer from the hotel to the airport in the afternoon. Departure to Luxembourg in the evening
