ITINERARY
Day 1: May 31, 2025 / Arrival Norderstedt Departure at 6:00 am in Luxembourg at the P+R Bouillon via Münster to Norderstedt, including breakfast and lunch.
Day 2: June 01, 2025 / Departure Kiel - ferry After breakfast, departure to Kiel, where you will board the ferry to Oslo. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3: June 02, 2025 / Oslo - Balestrand Check out and take a tour of Oslo. Alternative for passengers: departure from Luxembourg to Oslo. Arrival at noon. You travel on via Hønefoss and Gol, arriving at Hotel Kviknes in Balestrand in the early evening.
Day 4: June 03, 2025 / Boat trip Fjærlandsfjord - Glacier Museum - Panorama trip Gaularfjellet After a short walk through the village, you will reach the jetty. You will travel by boat through the beautiful Fjærlandsfjord to Fjærland. There you will visit the glacier museum, which impresses with its interesting exhibition and unusual architecture. Afterwards, take the bus via Skei and the lonely Gaularfjellet plateau back to Balestrand.
Day 5: June 04, 2025 / Lustrafjord The picturesque Lustrafjord impresses with its charming landscape framed by majestic mountains. As you travel through this area, the mountains gradually become higher. In Ornes, you can visit the only stave church on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the municipality of Luster you will also find the impressive Dale stone church.
Day 6: June 05, 2025 / Lærdal - Flåm Railway You travel along the Sognefjord to Lærdal. The town is known for its rich salmon fishing. In Flåm you then board the spectacular Flåm Railway, which takes you to Myrdal and back. This mountain railway line is considered to be one of the most beautiful and steepest in the world.
Day 7: June 06, 2025 / Free time in Balestrand Enjoy this day to your heart's content! For example, you can take a relaxing boat trip in the Aurlandsfjord and observe the impressive natural scenery from the water.
Day 8: June 07, 2025 / Panoramic trip via Grindaheim & Dokka - Oslo After breakfast, enjoy a picturesque panoramic ride along the route via Grindaheim and Dokka to Oslo. You will arrive at the Radisson Blu Hotel Nydalen in the late afternoon.
Day 9: June 08, 2025 / City tour of Oslo Today's schedule includes a city tour of Oslo with a local tour guide. Among other things, you will visit the National Museum and the Norwegian Opera as well as the Royal Palace. Passengers will be driven to the airport for their departure to Luxembourg. Coach passengers make their way to the ferry, which departs for Kiel, including dinner and breakfast the following day.
Day 10: June 09, 2025 / Journey home Disembarkation and journey home to Luxembourg from Kiel. Lunch along the route.
