Arrive by direct flight from Luxembourg to Milan. Upon landing, transfer to your hotel in Milan. The afternoon is free for you to explore. Discover the shopping metropolis on your own.
Day 2: November 28, 2025 / City tour and Shopping at your leisure
Today, your guide will introduce you to the ultimate fashion capital of Europe during a city tour. One highlight will be the impressive Milan Cathedral, Italy’s most iconic building.
For shopping, be sure to visit the Galleria, lovingly called the "living room of Milan." This 19th-century shopping arcade was built as a covered pedestrian street and combines various architectural styles. Its glass cross-vaulted roof spans the crescent-shaped building, adorned with rich decorations, stucco, frescoes, ornaments, vines, figurative representations, and mosaics on the floors. Along with historic cafés, the Galleria offers luxury shops, exquisite restaurants, modern bars, and even a 7-star hotel.
Milan’s streets offer a fascinating spectrum of elegance and luxury. The elegant windows of designer boutiques draw the eye, but equally impressive are the stylishly and extravagantly dressed people strolling through the streets. The fashion showcased twice a year on the Fashion Week runways is reflected in the designers’ ateliers and showrooms. These are located in the exclusive fashion district around "Via Montenapoleone" and the renowned fashion and arts district "Quadrilatero della Moda" near the cathedral square.
