Day 1: December 05, 2024 / Arrival
Transfer from P+R Bouillon to Frankfurt Airport before traveling to Helsinki by direct flight. Your French-speaking tour guide will be waiting for you in Helsinki and will accompany you throughout the trip. Transfer to the hotel afterwards.
Optional excursion: Traditional dinner in the Savotta restaurant.
Day 2: December 06, 2024 / Helsinki
In the morning, a guided tour of the Finnish capital awaits you, including a visit to Senaatintori, the beautiful architectural ensemble of Senate Square. Free time in the afternoon.
Optional excursion: discovery of Seurasaari.
Just a few kilometers from the center of Helsinki, it is worth visiting the island of Seurasaari and the open-air museum, where you can learn more about the rural life of the Finnish population in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Day 3: December 07, 2024 / Helsinki
Discover Finland's capital and its surroundings on your own or take part in one of the optional excursions.
Optional excursion: Suomenlinna Fortress
The 18th century fortress promises a day full of history and relaxation. Only a short ferry ride separates the market square
from the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 4: Dec. 08, 2024 / Train ride to Rovaniemi
After breakfast, board the Santa Claus Express train and continue your journey to the north of Finland. After a unique train journey, you will arrive in Rovaniemi, the official home of Santa Claus, at the end of the day. You will be taken to your hotel by bus.
Day 5: December 09, 2024 / Rovaniemi
In Rovaniemi, you have free time to get to know the capital of Lapland better or you can take part in one of the optional excursions.
Optional excursion 1: Adventure in the land of the gnomes with Santa's wife.
The Santa Claus woman will show you how to make Christmas decorations and the elf will teach you Christmas carols. In the evening, an atmospheric dinner awaits you in a log cabin.
Optional excursion 2: Discover the Aurora Borealis.
Discover the colorful northern lights.
Day 6: December 10, 2024 / Rovaniemi
Day at leisure.
Optional excursion 1: Snowmobile safari
On this fun safari, you will learn how to drive a snowmobile along frozen rivers and through snow-covered forests. Magnificent views await you from the tops of the hills.
Optional excursion 2: Discover the Great White Silence on snowshoes.
Experience the true feeling of the Arctic in the middle of the northern forests. Strap on your snowshoes and hike through the picturesque, snow-covered landscape.
Day 7: December 11, 2024 / Rovaniemi
Organize this day according to your personal ideas.
Optional excursion 1: 3 km long safari with huskies.
Short bus ride from the city to the husky farm. Before you go on safari, you will learn how to control the sleds. Back at the farm, enjoy a hot berry juice by the campfire.
Optional excursion 2: Safari with reindeer.
Unforgettable safari through the snowy forests in a sledge pulled by a reindeer. With a bit of luck, you might see the Northern Lights in the sky in the evening.
Day 8: December 12, 2024 / Departure
The morning is at your leisure before you are transferred from the hotel to the airport. The flight to Frankfurt with a stopover in Helsinki departs in the early afternoon. Finally, you will be driven from Frankfurt Airport to the P+R Bouillon in Luxembourg.
