ITINERARY

Day 1: June 03, 2025 / Arrival
Departure at 5:00 am in Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon to Bordeaux, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: June 04, 2025 / Biarritz - San Sebastián
After breakfast, you will set off for Biarritz, where you will have the opportunity to have lunch. 
Alternative passengers: In the afternoon, passengers will be welcomed at Biarritz airport, followed by the onward journey to San Sebastián.

Day 3: June 05, 2025 / San Sebastián
You will explore San Sebastián with a local tour guide. As early as the late 19th century, the location and pleasant climate made the fishing town with its perfect natural harbor a preferred seaside resort for the Spanish upper class. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 4: June 06, 2025 / Bilbao - Guggenheim Museum - Santander 
Morning drive to Bilbao, a city that presents itself as modern, well-kept and friendly. The once gloomy industrial city was extensively redesigned in the 1990s. You will then visit the famous Guggenheim Museum. Then continue to Santander.

Day 5: June 07, 2025 / Altamira Caves - Santillana del Mar - Oviedo 
Your journey begins with a morning drive to the charming little town of Altamira. In the visitor center of the nearby Altamira Caves, you will receive fascinating explanations about the approximately 14,000-year-old paintings. You will then have the opportunity to have lunch in Santillana del Mar. The manor houses adorned with coats of arms and picturesque alleyways offer a unique insight into the life of the old Spanish landed gentry. Overnight stay in Oviedo.

Day 6: June 08, 2025 / Magnificent beach drive - Foz - La Coruña
Your morning drive takes you along the picturesque coast to Foz. First you follow the coastal road to the impressive "Praia das Catedrais" - the beach of the cathedrals - on the Costa Verde. The relentless surf has carved deep caves into the rocks. Continue your journey in the afternoon and reach La Coruña on the wild Costa da Morte.

Day 7: June 09, 2025 / Costa da Morte
In the morning, you will set off with a German-speaking tour guide to O Grove, where you will take a boat trip and get to know the mussel cultures of the region. You will also take part in a tasting, which includes regional white wine, and have the opportunity to observe the breathtaking landscape and fascinating seabed. In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Santiago de Compostela.

Day 8: June 10, 2025 / Santiago de Compostela
Explore the picturesque old town on a tour and enjoy its relaxed atmosphere. In addition to numerous palaces, idyllic squares and arcaded streets, the impressive medieval cathedral is the main attraction of this world-famous place of pilgrimage at the end of the Way of St. James.

Day 9: June 11, 2025 / Porto - Journey home 
Departure to Porto, where you take the flight home to Luxembourg.
