ITINERARY
Day 1: April 02, 2025 / Arrival You arrive in Tenerife at midday on a direct flight from Luxembourg. You will then be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: April 03, 2025 / The northeast Your tour starts in the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife with its important port. During your free time, visit the Museum of Nature and Man with Guanche mummies or discover the Calle de la Castilla for shopping. Visit a winery including a delicious tasting in La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage City since 1999. Then explore the lush vegetation of the Anaga Mountains.
Day 3: April 04, 2025 / The northwest La Orotava impresses with its stately houses in traditional island style, including the Casas de los Balcones from the 17th century with characteristic balconies made of Canarian pine wood. Icod de los Vinos, known for its wine production, impresses with its colonial buildings. Puerto de La Cruz, the smallest municipality in Tenerife, is ideal for a stroll with its listed old town and extensive beach promenade. The town is located in the coastal valley of La Orotava, with a view of the imposing 3,718-metre-high Teide.
Day 4: April 05, 2025 / The southwest If you want to experience authentic Tenerife off the beaten track, a visit to the village of Masca in the Teno massif is a must. The well-kept houses and winding alleyways make it a jewel in the midst of breathtaking nature. Los Gigantes presents itself with its majestic 600-metre-high basalt cliffs. The Canarian banana is the star here, as it develops a special flavor due to the island's climate. Learn about its history on a banana plantation and enjoy lunch together with local delicacies.
Day 5: April 06, 2025 / Day at leisure Explore the island on your own or relax on the beach.
Day 6: April 07, 2025 / Teide National Park - Vilaflor - Chío You can't leave Tenerife without visiting Spain's most visited national park and the country's highest mountain. The moon-like landscape offers a variety of volcanic lava colors and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. You hike up the south side of the island, cross the Pino Canario forests, discover Vilaflor and reach the Cañadas. You take the cable car to just below the Pico del Teide, with views of the Ucanca Valley. The descent is via the picturesque village of Chío. Lunch is served in the Parador de Las Cañadas del Teide restaurant.
Day 7: April 08, 2025 / Neighbouring island of La Gomera Today you will visit the diverse neighboring island of La Gomera. The coach will first take you to Los Cristianos, where you will take the ferry to San Sebastián de la Gomera, the island's capital. From there, you will explore the most important places on this paradisiacal island, including the Laguna Grande and the valley of Hermigua. Lunch on La Gomera.
Day 8: April 09, 2025 / Journey home The morning is at your leisure. In the early afternoon, you will be transferred from the hotel to the airport. Your flight to Luxembourg departs from Tenerife in the early evening.
