Traveling by train, boat, and on foot, indulging in culinary discoveries, and above all, taking it slow with a conscious embrace of leisurely travel. A journey for adventurous gourmets.

In Vienna, you’ll stay in a traditional Viennese hotel in the First District (the historic center), in Graz in a modern design hotel right by the train station. The stylish accommodation in Ljubljana is also perfectly located, ensuring all activities are easily accessible via well-developed public transportation. This way, you’ll move through the cities like a local, creating opportunities for spontaneous conversations with the local population.

Day 1: To Vienna

• Flight Luxembourg-Vienna
• Transfer to the hotel
• Dinner at a traditional Viennese inn

Day 2: Experience Schönbrunn

• Tour of Schönbrunn Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• Stroll through the baroque Crown Prince Garden
• Explore the maze/labyrinth in the palace park
• Panoramic view from the Gloriette terrace
• Imperial baking art: Apple strudel
• Free time
• Option to attend a classical concert (subject to schedule)

Day 3: Into the Wachau

• Train ride to Melk Abbey
• Visit to Melk Abbey (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• Free time
• Scenic boat trip to Krems, including wine tasting
• Stroll through Krems
• Train ride back to Vienna

Day 4: Culinary Discoveries in Vienna

• Guided tour of Vienna (including market visits)
• Tasting of selected specialties in small eateries and shops
• Walk through the vineyards (approx. one hour)
• Visit to a wine tavern (UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage)

Day 5: Castles in Graz

• Free time
• Train ride to Graz
• Visit to Eggenberg Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
• Ride on the Schlossberg funicular railway
• Stroll on the Schlossberg
• Dinner at a traditional restaurant

Day 6: Culinary Experiences in Graz

• Walk through Graz’s old town
• Tasting of selected specialties at markets and small eateries
• Free time
• Optional: Dinner at the "Gerüchteküche" (vegan, two Gault Millau toques)

Day 7: Ljubljana (City & Castle)

• Train ride to Ljubljana
• Guided city tour
• Visit to the castle

Day 8: Culinary Ljubljana

• City walk through Ljubljana
• Tasting of selected specialties at markets and small eateries
• Free time
• Dinner at a specialty restaurant

Day 9: Back Home

• Transfer to the airport
