Hiking on Wollin, Usedom and Rügen
The Polish and German Baltic Sea islands enchant hiking enthusiasts with their scenic beauty and magnificent panoramas. Picturesque villages and imperial seaside resorts, pristine nature parks and long stretches of beach alternate. Fresh sea breezes and sophisticated flair frame the daily excursions. Extensive hikes let the soul come to rest, a good infrastructure and comfortable hotels ensure uncomplicated transportation and a relaxed hiking week by the sea.
From two locations (family-run hotels on Usedom and Rügen) you will set off with your local hiking tour guide on the daily hiking excursions (three easy and three medium-difficulty hikes of up to 17 kilometers).

Itinerary
Day 1: To the Baltic Sea coast
- Flight Luxembourg-Heringsdorf
- Transfer to the hotel
Day 2: The longest seaside promenade in Europe
- Walk along the longest seaside promenade in Europe (Swinemünde-Bansin)
- Guided tour of the “Kaiserbäder”
- Return journey by train
- Hiking distance: approx. 15 km, easy, no differences in altitude
Day 3: In the footsteps of Lyonel Feininger
- Train journey to Bansin
- Hike through the villages of Neu Sallenthin and Selllin to the Seven Lakes Mountain
- Art gallery in Benz
- Continuation of the hike to Pudagla windmill (visit) and along the Achterwasser to Ückeritz
- Return journey by train
- Hiking distance: approx. 17 km, medium, ↑↓ approx. 200 m elevation gain
Day 4: In the Wollin National Park
- Bus trip to Wisełka through the lake landscape of the Wollin National Park
- Return journey by bus
- Hiking distance: approx. 15 km, medium, ↑↓ approx. 50 m altitude difference
Day 5: From Usedom to Rügen
- Train journey to Peenemünde
- Ferry crossing to Rügen
- Hike in the area around the hotel (high path, Baltic Sea panorama)
- Hiking distance: approx. 6 km, easy, ↑↓ approx. 150 m elevation gain
Day 6: Granitz hunting lodge and the Amber Promenade
- Ride on the “Rasender Roland” steam train to Granitz hunting lodge
- Tour of the Granitz hunting lodge
- Hike to the seaside resort of Sellin and continue along the Amber Promenade to Göhren
- Hiking distance: approx. 14 km, medium, ↑ 290 m ↓ 320 m elevation gain
Day 7: Beach hike to the seaside resort of Binz
- Bus trip to Prora
- “Colossus of Prora” (exterior tour)
- Hike to the treetop path (panoramic view) and continue on the beach path to Binz
- Free time in Binz
- Return journey by bus
- Hiking distance: 8 km, easy, ↑↓ 50 Hm↓
Day 8: Return flight to Luxembourg
