Itinerary

Day 1: 26. Oktober 2024 / Arrival

Departure at 5:00 a.m. in Luxembourg at the P+R to Nice, incl. breakfast & lunch.

ALTERNATIVE: Flight with Luxair to Nice. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: 27. Oktober 2024 / Nice

On the first morning, a guided tour of the city with a local guide is on the program. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Stroll along the Promenade des Anglais or stroll through the city center.

Day 3: 28. Oktober 2024 / Lorgues – Château Rasque

Today takes you to the weekly market in Lorgues in Provence. Visit sights such as the Roman Catholic parish church of St. Martin, fascinating dolmens, the town walls and numerous historical monuments. In the afternoon, continue to Château Rasque in Taradeau, where you will take part in a wine tasting.

Day 4: 29. Oktober 2024 / Grasse – Saint-Paul-de-Vence

This morning, you will first take a trip to Grasse, the city of fragrances, and visit a perfume factory. You will then enjoy a delicious lunch in the town. In the afternoon, the journey continues to the charming small town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, which impresses with its fortified walls and medieval flair. In the 1920s, this town was a magnet for famous artists such as Braque, Matisse and Picasso.

Day 5: 30. Oktober 2024 / Menton – Musée Jean-Cocteau

Today you will visit the picturesque town of Menton and explore the charming town on the Italian border with the “Train touristique”. In the afternoon you will have free time. We recommend visiting the famous Musée Jean Cocteau at the foot of the historic old town, where the writer's various works are on display.

Day 6: 31. Oktober 2024 / Allerheiligen – Day at leisure

The entire day is at your disposal.

Day 7: 01. November 2024 / Villefranche-sur-Mer – Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

On the last day before your journey home, you will travel to Villefranche-sur-Mer, which you can visit at your leisure. Worth seeing are the Citadelle Villefranche-sur-Mer, the Volti Museum and the covered Rue Obscure. In the afternoon, continue your journey to neighboring Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, where you can visit the impressive Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its magnificent gardens in various styles.

Day 8: 02. November 2024 / retourn journey

You start your return journey by bus in the direction of Luxembourg, including lunch.

ALTERNATIVE: Transfer to the airport and flight with Luxair to Luxembourg.
