Dresden enjoys great popularity during the Advent season thanks to its numerous Christmas markets. You will also visit the festively decorated Wackerbarth Castle and taste various wines there.

Day 1: December 08, 2024 / Arrival

Departure at 6:00 a.m. in Luxembourg from P+R Bouillon to Dresden, including breakfast and lunch.

Day 2: December 09, 2024 / Dresden

On the second day, you will explore Dresden on a guided tour in the morning. You will visit the most important sights such as the Semper Opera House, the Frauenkirche and the Residenzschloss. Afterwards, you will have time at leisure. Take this opportunity to explore some of the Christmas markets, such as the Striezel market, where you can sample the world-famous Dresden Christmas stollen.

Day 3: December 10, 2024 / Meissen & Wackerbarth Castle

After breakfast, you will set off for Meissen. A guided tour of the fascinating porcelain manufactory awaits you there. You can then enjoy lunch at the Meissen Christmas market. In the afternoon, continue to Wackerbarth Castle, where you will be amazed by the festive lighting and Christmas decorations. A guided tour followed by a wine tasting rounds off the visit.

Day 4: December 11, 2024 / Weimar and journey home

In the morning, you will travel to Weimar, the city of poets and thinkers, where lunch awaits you first. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to visit the Schiller House or the Goethe House. The journey home to Luxembourg continues in the afternoon.
