Itinerary
Day 1: September 29, 2024 / Arrival
Departure at 5:00 am from Luxembourg at P+R Bouillon to Bardolino, including breakfast and lunch.
Day 2: September 30, 2024 / Bardolino - Free time
Today is free to explore Bardolino. The village is accessed via two gates: to the north is the Porta San Giovanni, while to the south is the Porta Verona. You will immediately notice the village's characteristic “herringbone structure”. The streets run perpendicular to the coast to facilitate access to boats and ships in the harbor. Bardolino is also famous for its many churches. The old town is lined with small stores, bars and restaurants serving local specialties.
Day 3: October 01, 2024 / Mantua
Today, you will travel to Mantua. In the morning, visit the imposing Palazzo Ducale. Lunch at the traditional Il Cigno restaurant. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore this romantic and culturally rich city.
Day 4: October 02, 2024 / Bergamo
In the morning, you will set off for the historic city of Bergamo. The city lies at the junction of the Alps and the Po plain. Take the funicular up to the upper town with its palaces and religious buildings, where you can enjoy the San Alessandro cathedral, the Santa Maria Maggiore basilica and spectacular panoramic views.
Day 5: October 03, 2024 / Cruise on Lake Garda - Sirmione
Aujourd'hui, vous ferez une agréable croisière sur le lac de Garde. Vous passerez par l'idyllique Punta San Vigilio et les grottes de Catullo pour arriver à Sirmione. Vous aurez du temps libre et pourrez notamment visiter le Lido delle Bionde. Retour à Bardolino en bus.
Day 6: October 04, 2024 / Riva del Garda - Limone
Morning departure for Riva del Garda, the largest town on Lake Garda, where you will have free time to explore this picturesque seaside resort. You will then take the boat to Limone, where you will also have some free time.
Day 7: October 05, 2024 / Gardone Botanical Gardens - Salò
Depart by boat for Gardone, to the André Heller Foundation, one of the world's most influential multimedia artists. In this botanical garden, you will see around 3,000 species of plants and works of art from all over the world. You will then continue on to Salò, where you will have lunch. Then you can explore the town at your leisure. Finally, return to Bardolino by boat.
Day 8: October 06, 2024 / Return
Departure for Luxembourg, including lunch.
