ITINERARY
Day 1: June 28, 2025 / Arrival Departure at 6:00 am in Luxembourg from P+R Bouillon to Gargas, breakfast and lunch included. Loading of the E-Bikes into the bike trailer will take place on Friday June 27 at 6:00 pm in the courtyard of our headquarters in Keispelt.
Day 2: June 29, 2025 / Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt - Rochers d'ocre de Rustrel - Apt - approx. 25 km Today's stages are colorful and impressive: first you head for Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, followed by a real highlight, the Rustrel ochre rocks. On the way back, you'll pass through the dreamy little town of Apt, known as the “capital” of the Lubéron valley.
Day 3: June 30, 2025 / Ménerbes - Lacoste - Bonnieux - approx. 70 km Along the small Calavon river, you follow a picturesque cycle path to Ménerbes. This charming village became famous thanks to Peter Mayle's bestsellers. Then on to Lacoste, another jewel of Provence, and Bonnieux. All three are among France's 100 most beautiful villages!
Day 4: July 01, 2025 / Bus excursion to Les Baux-de-Provence Today's trip is an invitation to relax, and will take you to the medieval village of Les Baux. From the top of the Alpilles cliffs, you'll have a breathtaking view of the vast Camargue marshes
Day 5: July 02, 2025 / Gordes - Fontaine-de-Vaucluse - Roussillon - approx. 70 km The bike tour begins with an early morning ride through lavender fields to Gordes, a picturesque village nestled against the rocks. The route continues through the small village of Murs to Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, where the Sorgue flows from the deepest spring on earth. The road then leads to Roussillon, perhaps the most beautiful village in Provence.
Day 6: July 03, 2025 / Mont Ventoux - approx. 65 km Electric bikes are transported in a trailer by bus via Simiane-la-Rotonde, Sault to Chalet Reynard. From here, you pedal up to Mont Ventoux, at 1912 m altitude, passing the statue of the late cyclist Tom Simpson. Then enjoy a 30 km descent into the lavender region around Sault and return via the Col de la Liguière, where you visit the old mill at Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt.
Day 7: July 04, 2025 / Gorges de la Nesque - approx. 70 km Electric bikes are transported in a trailer by bus to Sault. From there, you cross the Gorges de la Nesque to Villes-sur-Auzon, Venasque and back to Gargas via the Col de Murs. These charming gorges stretch for 25 kilometers and are a real jewel in the crown of northern Provence. The Gorges de la Nesque are part of the Parc Naturel Régional du Lubéron and are therefore particularly protected.
Day 8: July 05, 2025 / Return home Departure after breakfast for Luxembourg, lunch included.
