Itinerary

Saturday, August 24, 2024 / Loading of Electric Bikes

At 6:00 PM, load the bikes into the trailer at Demy Schandeler's garage in Keispelt.

Day 1: August 25, 2024 / Arrival

Departure at 8:00 AM from the P+R in Kehlen (near the pharmacy) to Überlingen, including lunch. Upon arrival, unload the electric bikes and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2: August 26, 2024 / Vineyards and Wineries - Approximately 50 km

Start the first bike ride accompanied by a local guide on electric bikes. The route passes by renowned vineyards to Immenstaad. A lunch break is planned in Kippenhausen at a vineyard where you'll have the opportunity for lunch. In the afternoon, return to Überlingen along the shores of Lake Constance.

Day 3: August 27, 2024 / Castles and Panoramic Views - Approximately 60 km

Accompanied by our guide, first visit Heiligenberg Castle, offering impressive panoramic views, followed by a relaxing coffee break. Then, head to the mountain inn at Höchsten, offering panoramic views of the Alps and Lake Constance. On the way back, pass by Salem Castle before returning to Überlingen.

Day 4: August 28, 2024 / Free Day

Enjoy this free day to explore the garden and health town of Überlingen, boasting a 1250-year-old urban history.

Day 5: August 29, 2024 / To the Lower Lake - Reichenau Island - Approximately 60 km

Through Bodmann-Ludwigshafen, you'll reach the lower lake then head to Constance with a detour to the Reichenau peninsula, known for its Hochwart viewpoint as well as its vegetable and wine culture. You'll have the opportunity for a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, cross by ferry to Meersburg and return to the hotel.

Day 6: August 30, 2024 / Swiss Side of the Lake - Approximately 70 km

Cross the lake to the hinterland and cycle to Romanshorn in Switzerland, where you'll have lunch. In the afternoon, take the ferry back to Friedrichshafen, where you'll have free time to relax on one of the many terraces. Then, ride along Lake Constance back to Überlingen.

Day 7: August 31, 2024 / Return

After storing the bikes, return to Luxembourg. Before arriving in Keispelt, a dinner is planned.
