Itinerary

Friday, July 5, 2024 / Electric Bike Loading

6:00 PM: Loading of electric bikes at Demy Schandeler's garage in Keispelt.

Day 1: July 6, 2024 / Alsace Eco-Museum - Colmar - Approx. 35 km

Departure at 7:00 AM from Kehlen at the P+R to Ungersheim, including breakfast. You will explore the Alsace Eco-Museum, France's largest open-air museum, where you can discover an exceptional collection of buildings and everyday objects and have lunch on-site. In the afternoon, you will continue your electric bike journey to Colmar. Dinner at the hotel included.

Day 2: July 7, 2024 / Vineyards and Wine Villages - Kaysersberg - Riquewihr - Approx. 50 km

After breakfast, your bike route will take you through vineyards and renowned villages. You will pass through Turckheim, Niedermorschwihr, Ammerschwihr, and Kientzheim before reaching Kaysersberg, the birthplace of the famous Franco-German philosopher of the 20th century, Albert Schweitzer. You will have some time to stroll around the town. Then, you will continue your journey to the charming small towns of Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, where you can take a break before returning to Colmar via Mittelwihr, Bennwihr, and Ingersheim.

Day 3: July 8, 2024 / Hohkönigsburg - Colmar - Approx. 60 km

Today, you will cycle again through charming wine villages until you reach the Hohkönigsburg castle near Orschwiller. On the way back, you will pass through St. Hippolyte and Roschwihr. The rest of the day will be free in Colmar.

Day 4: July 9, 2024 / Muttersholtz - Sélestat - Approx. 70 km

During your ride, you will cross small and charming Alsatian villages such as Holtzwihr and Wickerschwihr before reaching Muttersholtz, a region rich in natural spaces. Then, you will reach Sélestat, a city of art and history, where there is an important preserved library. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: July 10, 2024 / Colmar - Return

After breakfast, the electric bikes will be loaded onto the trailer. Then, you will have free time in Colmar. The return to Luxembourg will be in the afternoon.
