Unforgettable experiences and exciting insights into the host countries complement classic sightseeing tours. Visits to small producers, typical local picnics and breathtaking panoramas enrich Planet B's active and nature tours. The small groups of 6-18 participants are a clear advantage for everyone.
Environmentally and socially responsible travel
Care is taken to strengthen the positive effects of tourism in the destination and thereby boost the regional economy. Planet B prefers accommodation with a lot of flair and atmosphere, from family-run and owner-managed boutique hotels to certified 5* hotels, and always ensures that its partners are paid fairly so that they can invest in staff, training and equipment. As a responsible tour operator, Planet B also keeps an eye on the environment. The CO2 emissions caused during the trip (flights and land-based services) are 100% offset. Air travel (undeniably the biggest CO2 polluter) is carefully checked and feeder and domestic flights are avoided wherever possible.
Sustainable travel with Planet B
In March 2024, Planet B was the first Luxembourg tour operator to be awarded the “Travelife Certified” sustainability label. This award recognizes outstanding performance in the area of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Planet B meets more than 200 criteria relating to sustainability management, office operations, cooperation with suppliers and customer communication. The Travelife standards are officially recognized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), the highest global body for sustainability in tourism, which is supported by the United Nations.
