Mediterranean olive groves and enchanting coastlines
The south-eastern region of Puglia, forming the ‘heel’ of the Italian boot, stretches for over 800 kilometres along the Adriatic coast, making it one of Italy's richest coastal areas. As well as its magnificent beaches, Puglia is home to a multitude of unique towns and places: from the troglodyte dwellings of Matera and the baroque town of Lecce, to the dazzling whiteness of Ostuni and the bustling regional capital of Bari.
